Update

It is 6:00 AM on Monday, November 16th, and we are just docking in Ashdod, Israel. The sun is rising on another beautiful day on the Mediterranean and we are looking forward to walking in the footsteps of history in Bethlehem and Jerusalem.

We are exhausted, but we are having a wonderful time. This is not layabout tourism. We are living and learning on the run. There is time to smell the roses, but no time to sit and contemplate them.

We are keeping up with our notes and logging our pictures, but we are behind in posting to the blog. 12-hour days in port and glacially slow Internet access aboard ship conspire against us. Stay with us and we will catch you up soon…
